The Study Abroad Office at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Temporary Communications & Events Specialist. This full‑time, in‑person position supports the Communications & Marketing Manager in planning and executing major outreach events, managing digital and social media content, co-supervising student staff project-work, and leading front‑office operations for a busy, student‑centered office. Position is for at least one-year with opportunity to convert to permanent position. 
 
This is a temporary appointment and offers strong professional experience in international education, communications, and events within a top-10 study abroad office. 
 
Hiring range: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
