The Global Programs Outreach Coordinator serves as the hub of all communication and outreach in the office of Global Programs and Services at North Dakota State University (NDSU). Working closely with the university’s Marketing and Communications unit, the coordinator will deliver high quality, consistent and on-brand communications to NDSU’s students, faculty, staff, and external partners with the goal of raising visibility of global programs at NDSU.
The Global Programs Outreach Coordinator will primarily oversee activities in the following areas, though duties supporting other areas or needs of the office may be assigned:
1. Study Abroad outreach and marketing (“recruitment”);
2. Maintain office-wide social media and other outreach efforts, including for study abroad and international student services; and,
3. Support international student recruitment and admission, which may require domestic or international travel throughout the year.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM, 7:30AM-4PM during breaks and summer
Hiring Range:
$45,000 - $47,000 and excellent benefit package.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, graphic design, or similar field of study, or Associates degree in a related field and three years related experience.
Evidence of experience creating high quality marketing materials, managing branding, or working in direct sales to customer, evidenced through related work experience and/or examples of design work or successful marketing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with or interest in international affairs, demonstrated through personal or professional experiences abroad (living, working, traveling, or similar).
Ability to present a portfolio of past design work.
Knowledge of and/or prior use of Customer Relations Management (CRM) platforms.
