The Project Manager will support The Forum on Education Abroad’s Learning & Development Team by working with internal and external content experts to create project management plans, including key deliverables, timelines and milestones, status updates, and troubleshooting. Intercultural communication skills and exceptional attention to detail are critically important skills, since the person in this role will communicate policies, processes, and updates to a diverse audience of experts around the world. Familiarity working in the field of education abroad may be helpful but is not a requirement. An understanding of how education abroad offices function on U.S. campuses would also be an asset. Experience working as part of a remote team and residing within a two-hour proximity to Boston is strongly preferred. The Forum is committed to building a representative and diverse team. We encourage applications from all qualified persons.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects at the same time, with special emphasis on The Forum’s Teaching and Learning programs, including developing timelines and implementation plans for multiple programs, events, and projects.
  • Communicate with program and event facilitators and others regarding event logistics and Forum systems, including, processing contracts, payments, and reimbursements.
  • Provide administrative support to internal and external project leaders and the CEO and VP/Chief Learning Officer, utilizing The Forum’s administrative systems and procedures.
  • Liaise with The Forum’s Events Management and Operations teams as needed. May act as logistics and operational lead on assigned events.

The Forum on Education Abroad partners with Dickinson College and all applicants will apply through the Dickinson HR system.
