Are you passionate about international education, passionate about the Francophone world, and ready to take the lead in shaping student experiences abroad? Join APA (Academic Programs Abroad) as our new Director of the U.S. Office!

This is an exciting opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our Paris, Rabat and Dakar teams to drive student enrollment, forge new university partnerships, and elevate APA’s presence across the U.S. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with APA’s Director of Institutional Relations.

💡 What You’ll Do

🔹 Institutional Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with U.S. colleges and universities
  • Gain official program approvals and manage MOUs
  • Represent APA at conferences (e.g., NAFSA, Forum on Education Abroad)

🔹 Student Recruitment

  • Plan and execute campus visits and outreach campaigns
  • Guide students through the application and pre-departure process
  • Liaise with families, faculty, and alumni to foster strong community ties

🔹 Marketing & Communications

  • Design promotional content (flyers, newsletters, email campaigns)
  • Manage APA’s social media presence
  • Conduct market research and support strategic growth efforts

🔹 Operations & Administration

  • Oversee U.S. billing and administrative procedures
  • Collaborate with the Director and global team on new initiatives

🧠 What We’re Looking For

✅ Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
✅ 10+ years of experience in international education or study abroad
✅ Experience in Marketing and Sales
✅ Good knowledge of French & Francophone cultures (experience living in a French-speaking country and knowledge of French language a plus)
✅ Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills in English and French
✅ Tech-savvy with CRM (Salesforce) and social media experience a plus
✅ Self-starter, highly organized, with a willingness to travel frequently (up to 50 travel days/year)

  • Salary: up to 75,000 depending on experience
  • Employer contribution toward medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) up to $12,500 annually
