The Office of International Studies Abroad supports all undergraduate student study abroad programs, and graduate international programs in the Kroc School of Peace Studies, the Hahn School of Nursing, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Law School, and the Knauss School of Business which are conducted in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East as well as non-academic units engaged in international experiences supporting approximately 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students going abroad annually.
The Associate Director in the Office of International Studies Abroad will help to design and manage the international enrichment activities for undergraduate and graduate students across the university, and work with the various stakeholders across campus to design and implement international experiences for all students. Additionally, the Associate Director will serve as a 24/7 emergency contact, along with the Director, when students and faculty are abroad. Their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, being versed in the local knowledge required to maintain programs within the Office of International Studies Abroad, the management of international faculty-led study abroad programs, international consulting projects, and international research activities.
