About the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs (IU Global)
The Vice President for International Affairs and the teams of staff in OVPIA's offices are the stewards of international activity across all campuses of Indiana University. We provide strategic leadership and advocacy for all international programs and projects and coordinate the resources necessary to sustain their growth. Our goal is to enable as many students, faculty, and staff as possible to pursue international and intercultural knowledge and experiences and to become engaged global citizens.

Within IU Global, the Office of International Services (OIS) is dedicated to helping international students and scholars achieve their goals. Our staff recruit, admit, and enroll international students from all over the world. We provide social and cultural programming and visa- and immigration-related advising among other assistance to all international students and scholars. Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The individual in this role must serve as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) authorized by the Department of State (DOS). All AROs must meet the requirements as stipulated by DOS to serve in this capacity, including but not limited to either holding US citizenship or lawful permanent residence. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

After an initial training period, this position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
Advertised Salary
$48,000 - $53,000 annually
