Get ready for an exciting role! As the Program Manager, you’ll work closely with the Associate Director to lead the team that plans, organizes, and manages faculty-led programs. You’ll oversee implementation of assigned programs, assist with the daily management of the office, and manage program agreements and contracts. Plus, you’ll play a key role in continuously improving department processes, and implementing procedures to ensure the success of all assigned programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management: Lead the charge on faculty-led programs. Keep the Education Abroad office buzzing with daily operations. Craft and implement top-notch procedures for faculty-led programs. Drive continuous improvement in department processes. Champion student support and financial functions.

Communication and Collaboration: Foster dynamic communication with team members, stakeholders, campus partners, and providers. Deliver engaging orientations, presentations, and outreach programs. Empower the team with training and guidance on relevant topics, such as student advising.

Contracts: Navigate and streamline program agreements and contracts.

Supervision: Inspire and lead program coordinators and advisors. Mentor student workers (if applicable).

Planning: Shape strategic plans and goals to propel the team and department forward.

Risk Management and Emergency Support: Provide crucial risk management support for faculty-led programs. Be a lifeline for emergency support services, including pre-departure training and on-call emergency phone rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Five years of program management experience, including supervisory roles. 
 
Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree. Experience in faculty-led program and budget management. Supervisory experience in a study abroad office. Knowledge of Via TRM application platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. Team player and leader. Self-directed and motivated. Knowledge of a second language. Experience living, working, or studying abroad.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expertise in faculty-led program and budget management. Ability to lead and collaborate with a team. Experience working with faculty and study abroad providers. Knowledge of contract processes and agreements. Strong writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Professional interaction with stakeholders and partners. Ability to establish and maintain procedures. Organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Teams. Knowledge of Via TRM application platform. Knowledge of a second language and experience abroad.
